I hate how some people can be so narrow-minded and judgemental when they don't even know a person! The bank and its employees sound ridiculous, and I believe I'd have to flat out ask them what their damage is. They are being rude and discriminatory and those aren't exactly qualities of good customer service. Is this some small town bank, or is it a small branch of a larger company? I believe I'd call someone higher up (if there is) and complain about the way you are treated when you go to the bank. It sounds very stupid. I know how it feels to be new somewhere because I've moved a couple of times before but thank god I have never been treated like that.
