Stop Talking To Me!

Well, I have to whine about this because I had to deal with it today. I’ve been wanting to get my cell phone number, which had come to me ‘brand new’ with a whole bunch of phone spam and people thinking I was a Jack Sidney, onto the National No Call Registry for a super long time.

Unfortunately, I didn’t know how to go about it - not really - but in my defense, that’s because I’m lazy be cause apparently FindOutWhosCalling.com - the site that offers you reverse phone lookups - has n ot only the links to get your name removed, but easy to follow instructions. So, I’ve now been ‘removed’ effective in a little over a month. Whoo hoo!

I need to look into this myself, because I’m almost afraid to use my cell phone at times since my old live-in ex gave my number out as his number sometimes to avoid the bill collectors that were after him, and I’m still intercepting the periodic call nearly a year later asking when people are going to get their money from him. They don’t seem to understand that it’s been a year and we don’t live together anymore.

This seems like it would be a whole lot easier than going to all of the trouble of changing my number and then having to let everyone who had my old number know about the new one, though!
